Welcome to Glass House BVI
The Glass House BVI is a luxury, beachfront house with panoramic ocean views of secluded White Bay, Jost Van Dyke. We invite you to come and make our vacation home yours, the next time you travel to the British Virgin Islands.
How it all started
In early 2013, I booked a quick getaway to the islands for a family birthday celebration. My friends had raved about a place with a weird name in the British Virgin Islands – “Jost Van Dyke” (JVD). They told me about a bar with soggy dollars and more weird character names like Ivan, Seddy and Foxy. They promised it was “The best beach ever”
I have been very fortunate and blessed to be relatively well-traveled. I have seen some of the best beaches in the world, including in the Phillippines, Australia, Seychelles, South Africa, as well as many beautiful destinations. Like those past excursions, I expected this to be just another great trip to a beautiful destination.
That was until we first set our eyes on Jost. As we sailed into White Bay…it didn’t feel real… it couldn’t be, the water clearer then clear… bluer than blue, and the sand whiter than white. My friend’s description did not do it any justice, it was truly unimaginable. On the island, we met some of the friendliest people, both from the island and those passing through. The little island with breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere imprinted on us both deeply.
After the trip, I was back home in Kentucky for 2 days before the next trip to White Bay was booked! Since then, I have been going back every year, 2-3 times…for celebrations to holidays to taking my 4-month old son at the time and introducing him to paradise. I have many cherished memories and enjoy taking and introducing friends and family to the British Virgin Islands, especially JVD and White Bay.
In late 2016, I was fortunate enough to purchase a piece of untouched paradise, in White Bay, right beside Ivan (Ivan’s Stress Free Bar). I look forward to creating many more memories in the fantastic Glass House in White Bay and can’t wait to share it with great friends and family, my children and future grandchildren. My hope is that you have a chance to share my little secret island with your friends and family, too. I invite you to make my “home away from home” yours!

Jost Van Dyke BVI
Volcanic Cliffs. Tranquil Waters. Warm White Sand
Jost Van Dyke is located in the British Virgin Islands near Tortola. A small volcanic island of only 3 square miles, Jost Van Dyke Island is home to the one of the world’s best kept secrets: White bay. White bay is named after its pristine white beach and clear water. Jost Van Dyke provides a diverse terrain with mountainous volcanic cliffs to explore, beautiful soft sand beaches, and protected coves to snorkel.
Glass House BVI was a project that started as sketch that I did while dreamily, doodling on the back of an envelope. The house is now an architectural masterpiece designed with modern, local flare by a renowned Tortola architect, Dion Stout. The residence is designed with two master suites, each with a private ensuite, ocean views, and access to the upstairs balcony. Downstairs are two more bedrooms with private ensuites, one with a King size bed, and the other with bunk beds and two queen size beds for all of the kids! The outer decks and infinity pool are designed to maximize one of the main reasons for building Glass House… to never lose sight of the remarkable views of White Bay.
“A place to discover, experience, and create lifelong memories with great friends and family.”
